HANDCUFFS THAT CAN BE QUICKLY ENGAGED WHILE MAINTAINING PHYSICAL DISTANCE

Safecuffs

Self restraining handcuffs

  • Statistics show that most injuries to law enforcement personnel happen during the controlling or arresting of a subject. Conventional handcuffs require officers to be in close proximity at the time of an arrest thereby increasing the likelihood of injury to both the suspect and the arrestee. Our technology permits for arrests that are safer and more humane than other products on the market.

  • The device is utilized by placing one’s wrists in the Safecuffs and spreading their hands apart then back together. Our patented double locking mechanism then secures the wrists without requiring any third party assistance thereby reducing their threat level at the time of an arrest. The Safecuffs can also be activated by the person performing the arrest similar to zip tie flex cuffs.

  • Safecuffs are composed of polypropylene polymer making them non-toxic, lightweight, durable, and environmentally friendly. They are the optimal restraint for vulnerable people such as those who facing mental health crisis, pregnant, or those with disabilities . Safecuffs can be used by a variety of first responders including police, security, medical staff, and military personnel.
